Training Presentations

LAS101 Course Presentation

As an Undergraduate Assistant for a large lecture first-year seminar course, I am responsible for giving multiple presentations to students to develop their interpersonal and professional communication skills. My first presentation to students was how to balance their new college responsibilities through the practice of prioritization and mindfulness. The example below is an example of my skills in public speaking and my ability to mentor students.

Robotics Team Project Management

Training Presentation

Below is a presentation I prepared on Team Project Management. This presentation was requested by the University of Minnesota Robotics Team, GoFIRST. I presented this to an audience of 50+ teams at an All-State Conference in Minneapolis, MN. It exemplifies my experience as a team project manager, experienced public speaker, and trainer. In addition to my own experiences as an inspiration for this presentation, you may notice that Skyline Exhibits is also a collaborator. I had the honor to visit Skyline Exhibits, a well-known local Minnesota technical company, on multiple occasions to discuss topics such as project management and design brainstorming. This collaboration is another example of my close work with professional companies on topics such as communication, content management systems, and training best practices.

Robotics Outreach Fundamentals

Training Presentation

Another example of my training presentations during my time in FIRST Robotics is below. Similarly to the above presentation, this presentation was requested by the University of Minnesota Robotics Team, GoFIRST. I presented this to an audience of 50+ teams at an All-State Conference in Minneapolis, MN. Here you’ll find an example of my experienced public speaking and professional communication skills. This presentation went on to assist over 120 Minnesota FIRST Robotics teams in conducting quality outreach in their communities. Teams reported back that the outreach they conducted from information on this presentation helped them win multiple FIRST Robotics competitions.
