My latest internship was working as a Media Intern for a children’s music program titled Music Together Mindful Music and Arts. I was responsible for taking photos of parent-child interaction during active music classes, creating and editing social media promotional materials, and managing social media accounts for the company. Students for Open Discussion Club PR Materials
Below are examples of my work using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. As the Technical Writer Officer and founding member of Students for Open Discussion, I am responsible for conceptualizing and developing all PR materials for our social media and official ISU presence. Here, I created a logo, a Twitter header, a Twitter announcement, and a flyer for recruitment. These materials provide examples of my document design and knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software. You can also view multiple examples of our club’s PR materials as we’ve changed our brand throughout the academic years.

ISU Technical Communication Flyer
Here is an example of my work in digital design. While digital design is new to me, I’m passionate about learning more. In this example, I was tasked with recreating a flyer for the Technical Communication major and minor available to students at Iowa State University. This is just one example of my experience working with Adobe InDesign and other Adobe software. This flyer provides examples of my research, organization, and knowledge of genre and audience.

Robots Without Borders Website
This example displays my knowledge of digital design on a website. During my senior year of high school, my FIRST Robotics team created a program called Robots Without Borders. I was tasked with creating an informative and interactive website for international teams and sponsors to utilize when first coming in contact with the program, or when doing in-depth research for accessible materials. This website provides examples of my knowledge of website layout, organization, document design, and accessibility.

Team 2220 FIRST Robotics Website
This example displays my knowledge of digital design on a website. Throughout high school, I was tasked with the creation and upkeep of the website for my FIRST Robotics team, Team 2220. This website had to be professional for our current and future sponsors and local government we worked with. In addition, it had to be useful for other teams looking to collaborate with and learn more about our team. This website provides examples of my knowledge of website layout, organization, document design, and accessibility.
