Electronic

To reflect on the choices I made as I create this site (ePortfolio) as my electronic piece of communication, I had to make many changes in order for my site to appear the way I wanted it to present to my audience. In the process, I first began by activating a theme on to my site which took me some time to end up with the one that actually satisfied me. In addition to that, I inserted a different image from the original theme to meet my own personality because I felt that since it is my own personal blog I should make it appear to my own attitudes and interests. The final layout that I chose to stick with has a simple appearance, the tabs under the heading is clear across the page and I ordered the WOVE in their order to draw my audience’s attention and not to confuse them of where they can find each artifact, quickly and efficiently.

As I have described briefly about the process of creating this site, this web composing gave me the power to create anything that I want but appropriate to the purpose of the site. I can design and edit it however I want it. To put my self in a position of an electronic communicator, I have the power to display how much my audience can get to know me in the “About Me” page. The process helped me better understand what I could do in the future to use the skills I’ve learned to blog my own personal page. For an example, I would be able to share my experiences, photos, video clips, and so on from the places I will be traveling and talk about them like I did for each artifact on WOVE. In my future teaching career, I will also be able to use these skills to create a blog for specific purposes for my classroom just like I have teachers in the past that used blogs for their lesson plans and assignments areplaced on their sites as well. Of course, there are numerous of other purposes for blogging but these are some that came to my mind when I think of what I can do with them in the future.
